Learning a foreign language takes time and dedication. Nevertheless, it should be fun and offer tons of benefits. Some of the reasons for learning a language are practical, aspirational, intellectual, and others sentimental. Whatever your reasons, having a clear idea of why you're learning a language can help you achieve motivation in your studies.

Travel

If you want to venture beyond popular tourist places, get to know the locals, read signs, menus, etc. Knowing the local language is necessary.

Family and Friends

If your partner, in-laws, relatives or friends speak a different language, learning that language will help you communicate with them. It will also give you a better understanding of their culture and way of thinking.

Work

If your work involves regular contact with speakers of foreign languages, being able to talk to them in their languages will help you communicate with them. It may also help you make sales and negotiate contracts. The knowledge of foreign languages will increase your chances of finding a new job, getting a promotion or transfer abroad, or going on foreign business trips.

Studying Abroad

If you plan to study at a foreign university, college or school, you'll need a good knowledge of the local language.

Required Courses

You may be required to study a particular language at school, college or university as part of getting a professional degree in a foreign country.

Getting in Touch with Your Roots

Learning the language of your ancestors might become useful when researching your family tree – the documents you find might be written in a language foreign to you. Maybe you would like to teach your children the language of their grandparents. Learning the language will be vital if you want to travel there.

Culture

Maybe you've always been fascinated by the culture of a foreign country. Learning the language will help you gain a better understanding of the country.

Challenging Yourself

Maybe you enjoy the challenge of learning foreign languages, and you would like to make it your New Year's resolution.

Health

Learning a foreign language helps create new neuro-connections. It helps the brain stay young longer.

Emigration

When you move to a different country or region, learning the local language will help you to communicate and integrate with the local community. Learning the local language will demonstrate your interest in and commitment to the new country.

Our method...

Study a balance of 4 key skills

It is crucial to learn a balance of the four main language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing - perfecting only one or two of them is not enough if you want to communicate fluently.

Our class structure always focuses on keeping that balance. In each class, you will practice listening, speaking, reading and writing.

You will also receive advice on how to study and review your class material at home in the most effective way.

We will help you set your goals.

We will guide you in creating an agenda.

We will help motivate you in making a commitment.

And we will do our best to make sure you are having fun along the way!
