Reasons for Learning Spanish

Spanish is the world's 3rd most spoken language, after Chinese and English. Spanish ranks 2nd in terms of native speakers and is the second most often taught language in the world. It is the second most used language in international communication and an official language of the UN and its organizations.

The number of Spanish speakers is growing at a faster rate than English speakers!

In today’s world, speaking a foreign language provides you more career opportunities; English-Spanish speakers are sought after everywhere in the world.

It's possible to visit Mexico, Spain, and Argentina without speaking a word of Spanish... but it isn't nearly as much fun!

Spanish Classes for Adults

Small Groups

We work with small groups, no more than 10 students per class. Working in small groups allows us to focus on the needs of each student and to provide more practice and faster improvement towards the development of the student's language skills.

Conversational Classes

We believe that learning a language is much more than memorizing vocabulary and grammar. We implement as much conversation as possible, which can be between 60% and 80% of the class, depending on the level.

Professional Teachers

All of our teachers are bilingual professionals with many years of experience teaching the Spanish language. Our teachers are very patient, helpful and able to explain even the most difficult topics. Working with our teachers, not only will you learn the language quickly, you'll also have fun in the process!

Technology and Other Teaching Methods

The most notable feature of our classes is the use of PowerPoint presentations on a 55-inch screen, which enables the students to get a clear and comprehensible view of the teacher’s presentation. This type of interactive presentation advances the learning experience up to five times faster than when using an ordinary white board (even though that is also an indispensable component of our classrooms).

Other important teaching materials are students’ books and workbooks, as well as numerous audio and video materials, which provide students with a variety of practical examples of languages being spoken in different accents.

Games, Music and Videos

These materials are used by teachers in order to have a dynamic and fun class.

Field Trips

Field trips are also a part of the learning process! Every few weeks we will meet outside of the classroom for a change of scenery and pace.

Guest Speakers

We invite native Spanish speakers from different countries that who live in Mississippi to come and talk to you. Our goal is to provide the students the opportunity to hear different accents and to learn about diverse cultures.

Breaks are offered half-way through each session for ten minutes during which students are provided free drinks.

Students with some knowledge of Spanish may take a placement test and will be given the option, based on their test results, of progressing to a higher level class or enrolling in the Beginners I class.

A minimum of 6 students is required in order to open a class.  Class maximum is 10 students.

Family discount: 10 % off on a second person.
